Your Connection Process
Purpose
The purpose of this assessment is to help you
analyze and determine where your church ranks
in performance on the key ministry process of
Connection. Its scope is limited to a church's
ability to connect guests from their first visit
to a church until they have identified that
church as their new church home. This is called
your church's Connection Rating.
The questions below have been assigned weighted
values as they have varying impacts on a church's
ability to connect guests. This bias comes from
almost 20 years of ongoing work with thousands
of churches in the area of assimilation and
staying abreast of cutting edge research.

A. First Impressions
Questions in this section address the guest's experience BEFORE they enter the doors of your worship center. They serve to emphasize just how much is going on in a guest's experience within the first few minutes of a visit. It is interesting to note that research indicates that most guests decide whether or not to come back again in the first 5-10 minutes of the visiting experience.
