I knew by looking at our church that we did not need more ministries but we needed a mechanism, a ministry behind our ministries that would effectively connect our visitors into our existing ministries and into pathways of service. It was around this time that the simple thought hit me that visitors represented 100% of our church's growth potential. As silly as it sounds, I needed to crystallize this basic thought before I could begin acting and conducting ministry, like I believed it. It struck me that we were far too passive in our mindset towards visitors. We would need to be more proactive than listing our ministries in the church bulletin with the mindset, "whosoever will may come." We needed a paradigm shift that said, "We are going into the highways and byways to bring them in."
