The Assemblies of God Home Missions Department later adopted Connection Ministries along with some other ministry systems, which I had developed and published in The Pastor's Journal, as a part of a national pastor mentoring and training ministry called Project Hope. I found myself conducting pastoral seminars across the country while actively pastoring a growing church. This was a rich and invaluable experience. Many pastors reported that their churches had begun to grow after years of being on a plateau. Lots of lessons were learned from several years of field implementation and the invaluable feedback from pastors around the country.

The greatest challenge of The Pastor's Journal version of the Visitor Tracking and Touching System was getting all those paper copies of Visitor Report Forms back from those who were calling visitors so the visitor files could be updated and more calls could be assigned. This was a constant logistical challenge requiring a huge commitment of human resources and, at times, no small amount of frustration.
